The Red Carpet Facial
What is Dermaplaning?
DERMAPLANE SMOOTHS THE SURFACE OF YOUR SKIN.
Known as the “Red Carpet” facial Dermaplaning provides many esthetic and health benefits to the skin. A scalpel is used to sweep along your skin, which will gently separate debris and impurities from the skin’s surface. All Vellus hair will also be removed, leaving you with the result of silky, smooth, glowing skin.
Dermaplaning can help reduce the appearance of pigmented acne scars and hyperpigmentation over time. Additionally, because dermaplaning removes the top layer of dead skin cells, it removes barriers for optimum product penetration. Any product applied to your skin after your treatment will be able to be absorbed deeper into the skin, making your products more effective.
Furthermore, this is a perfect pre-procedure treatment to other services like laser treatments performed on the face and chemical peels as it allows for deeper penetration. It is also loved by makeup users as it creates the perfect base for flawless makeup application.
The perfect pre-procedure to any laser skin treatment.
Dermaplaning signals to your cells that they need to regenerate.
Post-treatment allows better absorption of skin products.
Dermaplaning helps your skin stay clear and healthy.
What to expect:
During treatment, your face will be exfoliated with a sterile, sharp scalpel blade. You will be left with a smoother, brighter and much fresher-looking complexion. Unlike many other hair removal/exfoliation techniques, dermaplaning is painless. You’ll experience no downtime with this procedure, and achieve immediate results.
Length of results:
Peach fuzz (Vellus hair) grows back at different rates for everyone; however, patients will usually see and feel results for about 2-3 weeks after the treatment. Dermaplaning may be performed every 4 weeks, dependent on hair regrowth and skin conditions. For best results targeting scaring/ pigmentation, monthly treatments are recommended.
THIS TREATMENT MUST BE FOLLOWED WITH THE USE OF A SPF 30+ SUNBLOCK
Treatment time is 60 minutes
