Reduce fine lines and wrinkles!

- Botox – $12
WHAT IS NUCEIVA?
Nuceiva contains Prabotulinumtoxin A, a safe and effective drug for cosmetic purposes. Nuceiva works by blocking the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. By relaxing muscles under the skin, Nuceiva prevents certain muscle movements and as a result smooths fine lines and wrinkles. Visit us at our Spa Tru Clinics Langley Branch for consultations and packages .
What’s the difference between Botox & Nuceiva?
Nucevia costs less the Botox brand and therefore is more affordable.
Many clients find that Nucevia starts to work in as little as 2 days, whereas Botox can take up to 2 weeks.
Both wrinkle treatments are neuromodulators. The generic name for Botox is Onabotulinum toxin – The generic name for Nuceiva is Prabotulinum toxin… see the similarity?
Many medications have slight modifications that change their name, but in essence, they are very much the same and it comes down to the brand name. Think Kleenex VS Puffs.
Both work similarly to decrease the appearance of dynamic lines and wrinkles giving you a more youthful appearance. Nuceiva is a bit more affordable than Botox at Spa Tru and we find our patients enjoy the savings.
Reduce the appearance of Frown Lines
HOW DOES A NEUROMODULATOR WORK?
At Spa Tru Clinics in Langley, one of our Medical Aesthetic Injectors can use neuromodulators to target the repeated muscle contractions that cause frown lines. By temporarily reducing muscle activity in the injected muscles, you can achieve a visible smoothing of your frown lines between your brows. Wrinkles can result from various factors, such as cellular changes, collagen reduction, and damage caused by free radicals in the environment. However, frowning and squinting are also contributing factors to the development of lines and wrinkles. That’s why our team at Spa Tru uses neuromodulators to relax these muscles and help you achieve a more youthful appearance.
The treatment requires minimal downtime or recovery, and it’s often referred to as a lunchtime procedure because you can resume your normal routine immediately after leaving Spa Tru Clinics in Langley.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the only approved treatment to temporarily improve the appearance of both moderate to severe frown lines between the brows and crow’s feet lines in adults.
Derived from sources that exist in nature.
BOTOX® Cosmetic contains tiny amounts of a highly purified botulinum toxin protein refined from the bacterium, Clostridium botulinum. Formulations, potency, and approved doses vary among botulinum toxin products, which means that one product cannot take the place of another. Those are a few reasons why there is no such thing as a “generic” form of BOTOX® Cosmetic. There have been no studies to support that other products are Unit-to-Unit equivalent to BOTOX® Cosmetic.
Spa Tru offers a complimentary consultation for injections, so we make sure you know exactly how it all works.

What is Botox, and how does it work?
Botox is a cosmetic treatment that involves the injection of a neurotoxin called Botulinum toxin. This toxin temporarily paralyzes the muscles in the treated area, preventing them from contracting and causing wrinkles. The result is smoother, more youthful-looking skin.
What areas can be treated with Botox?
Botox is commonly used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and between the eyebrows (glabellar lines). It can also be used to address other areas of the face, such as the chin or neck, to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
How long does Botox last, and when will I see results?
Botox results typically last between 3-6 months, but this can vary depending on the individual and the treatment area. It can take up to 14 days to see the full effects of the treatment, and most people notice a gradual improvement in the appearance of their wrinkles over the first few days.
Are there any side effects or risks associated with Botox?
As with any medical procedure, there are risks and potential side effects associated with Botox. These can include bruising, swelling, redness, and muscle weakness in the treated area. More serious side effects, such as difficulty breathing or swallowing, are rare but can occur in rare cases. It is important to choose a qualified and experienced provider for Botox injections to minimize the risk of complications.
