WHAT IS NUCEIVA?
Nuceiva contains Prabotulinumtoxin A, a safe and effective drug for cosmetic purposes. Nuceiva works by blocking the nerve signals that cause muscles to contract. By relaxing muscles under the skin, Nuceiva prevents certain muscle movements and as a result smooths fine lines and wrinkles.
What’s the difference between Botox & Nuceiva?
Nucevia costs less the Botox brand and therefore is more affordable.
Many clients find that Nucevia starts to work in as little as 2 days, whereas Botox can take up to 2 weeks.

HOW DOES A NEUROMODULATOR WORK?
Neuromodulators target one of the underlying causes of frown lines —the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years. One of our Medical Aesthetic Injectors at Spa Tru will inject these muscles to temporarily reduce muscle activity, in turn, your result is a visible smoothing of your frown lines between your brows.
Wrinkles result from a combination of many factors. It’s not just about cellular changes that can occur over time, reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals in the sun and the environment. When you frown or concentrate, the muscles between your brows contract, causing your skin to furrow and fold. When you squint, the muscles around your eyes contract and cause 11’s AKA frown lines.
Treatment requires almost no downtime or recovery; it’s often called a lunchtime procedure because you can go about your normal routine immediately after you leave the clinic.
